Organisation needs your help for autistic children
HOPE FOR AUTISM SOCIETY IPOH are raising funds to set up HOPE ACTIVITY CENTRE to run special programmes and activities for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) from underprivileged families. On 23rd of December 2011, HOPE FOR AUTISM SOCIETY IPOH is holding HOPE FOR AUTISM CHARITY DINNER at Hillcity Hotel, Ipoh.
The objective of the Charity Dinner is as below:
* · Fund raising to set up Hope Activity Centre for children & teenagers with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
* · Equip premise with items and needs to run special programmes & activities for ASD children & teenagers
* · To fund special programmes & activities for children & teenagers with ASD
* · To provide free services for ASD children from underprivileged families
* · To sponsor academic programmes for ASD children and teenagers at My Star Academy, Ipoh.
During the Charity Dinner, we will be having booths for charity sales whereby we sell items and products donated by interested corporate sectors.
Volunteers needed
We are still looking for donors as many has not confirmed their contributions and the occasion is drawing near. We are also looking for volunteers to help us on the day of the Charity Dinner as there will be approximately 30 children with special needs involved in performances and receiving awards. Special children needs a lot of monitoring and guidance especially in crowded places.
